What about a Plymouth's theme changer?
Nowadays it can be changed through shell.

Would be nice if this could be configurable through tweaks (as compiz settings)!! Maybe already a link to themes could be added?

Thank you,

The ubuntu-tweak should have the option of configuring the boot. Only advanced users know how to easily configure grub.

Below is the mockup of the idea.

I hope the idea pleases.

i just found a good addon for nautilus called "nautilus-actions" which allows action with for different filetype and it is much more powerful than nautilus-scripts. It should be a function in ubuntu-tweak to replace the nautilus-scripts.

Sorry, this Blog acts a little bit strange.

The above mentioned path is: “/home/username/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/search in folder”

The parameter is not –path=%M (!). The parameter needs two (!) minus characters, not only one - but this blog shows only one minus character.

Unlike in the version of Karmic, the nautilus-script "search in folder" in Lucid does not (!) search in the selected folder but always in /home/.

A workaround: open file "/home//.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/search in folder" (sorry I don't know the correct english translation of the filename) and enter: gnome-search-tool --path=%M

The search does not start in the selected folder (like in Karmic), first you have to open (!) the folder an then run the script.

I think this option should be included for next Ubuntu Tweak version: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/04/easily-access-missing-interface-tab.html

Will be better to have a great tweaker tool with this functionality plus more than just one little tweaker that will do that for you
