Yet another bug-fixed release of Ubuntu Tweak is coming, and of course, with some new features.
Here’s Ubuntu Tweak 0.7.3:
First of all, let’s see some new features:
- Add feature to turn on/off Guest account;
- Add support for Linux Mint 13 (Ubuntu 12.10 is supported too, but can’t ensure the stability)
- In Ubuntu 12.10, linux-image-extra has been added to the old kernel clean list
And a lot of bugs has been fixed too:
- LP: #993800 QuickList Editor lost Edits
- LP: #1019812 Ubuntu Tweak crashes on ubuntu 12.10
- LP: #1031741 Need to update utdata url
- LP: #1013656 module import error and administration doesn’t work
- LP: #1014799 Tweak tab hangs with 0.7.3.0 testing
- LP: #1016199 LightDM plugin should be active if lightDM is the DM
- LP: #1014300 Screen edges actions are reversed in right to left locals
- LP: #1015835 Janitor crash when try to select apt cache checkbox
- LP: #1017820 Error message when clicking on “Session indicator” when indicator-session is not installed isn’t clear enough
- LP: #1021290 AttributeError: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘present’
- LP: #1032883 ubuntu tweak scripts

Very good job ! Thank you very much.
Is it relevant to keep an app center in Ubuntu tweak ? There is much more apps in the Ubuntu Software Center… Perhaps a link could be done, or something like that.
Yours sincerely

What support for Linux Mint has been added?

Why can’t I use the login tweaks? All the controls are inactive! :/
Never mind… didn’t see the unlock button!
For some reason, Tweak isn’t cleaning the old Linux kernel in Xubuntu 12.10

很多东西都挺实用呢
I don’t know why, but ever since re-installing I’m missing a lot of features, such as Fonts.
What gives? Is this only enabled when using Unity?
I tested a few others, but this was the best I found, even now use it in Conjunction with CCSM
good work!
Great release! I’ve always liked how well this program is implemented, but I have a little problem. In Janitor Chrome is shown as one of the programs to clean cache for but I don’t have it installed. Is there a way to remove it from the list even if I don’t have it installed? Thanks and keep on the good work!

Hi,
Under Tweaks, Workspace is missing for me. This is what I want: http://i.stack.imgur.com/1G9Hn.png , but Workspace is not there in this new version.
Thanks,
Laszlo
Lot of thanks for your hard work. Ubuntu Tweak is the first app I install after Ubuntu installation. It’s a “Must-Have” to me.
It is magical, it has all the features we need.
Don’t change anything.
Thanks again.
Best part of this new release is feature to turn on/off Guest account!
Just installed Tweak 0.7.3 onto my Ubuntu 12.04 and having a problem with Tweak remembering the settings I make. So following a reboot, it doesn’t remember any of the settings. Starting Tweak again in the following session, the settings are there, i.e. like in the Workspace section, mouse move top right will “Show Windows”. But it simply doesn’t do it. I need to set it as something else then back to “Show Windows” before it does it.
Am I doing something wrong?
How do I restore lightdm default settings?
how can i added mac Lion theme into tweak…
Hey, thank you a lot for your hard work!
Love Ubuntu Tweak!
does debian6 can use the software?
Just superb and thanks for this! Used it to release about 2.7G of space from unwanted stuff in system. Keep it going well.
