Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.6 beta available

In the last post (Feature Sneak Peak: Reset Setting), I introduced the “Reset Setting” feature for Ubuntu Tweak.

Now I’ve made a big step to it, A totally new feature to backup, recover and reset your desktop settings has been finished.

As always, before the official release, I need more testing to make the feature stable. And of course, translator is needed.

If you’re interested in testing the latest version of Ubuntu Tweak, please visit this link: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-tweak-testing/+archive/ppa

For translators, please visit this page to translate the new strings: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-tweak

Thank you!

  4. This is great but,,where are the backups saved? If I have to do a rebuild or have a HDD crash I would want to have the backup files saved somewhere otherwise, this won’t be of much use…..

  10. Hello There. I found your blog using msn. This is a very

the post. I will definitely return.

  11. I think that everything composed made a bunch of sense.
But, what about this? what if you were to write a awesome headline?
I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your
website, however suppose you added a post title that grabbed folk’s attention? I
mean Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.6 beta available | Ubuntu Tweak Blog is a little vanilla.
You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create article titles to get
people to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about what
you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it might bring your website a little livelier.
