Help to translate UTCOM
January 13th, 2010 | by TualatriX |Today I opened the translation center of UTCOM, now you can help to translate the website itself, just like translate Ubuntu Tweak but have a little difference.
Here is the guide.
First of all, UTCOM is slight different from normal application, it is website application powered by django, mainly consists of three parts: appcenter, sourcecenter and utcom.
You can start translate by choosing one “series”, by default it is “utcom series”, but “appcenter” and “sourcecenter” need to be translated too.
If you can’t find your language, you need to set which language translation will be available for you. Visit this link to set: which languages you want to work with
Finally, You can start the translation. I will merge your work to the website regularly.
Thanks all the contributors! For more details, you can visit: Launchpad Translate Help

Why is BROTHERSOFT a sponsor of U-Tweak, yet offers
NO support to LINUX or U-T itself?

Hello, I started translating to Swedish, but then I thought maybe I should register as a translator or something, or be certified as a translator by someone.
I have translated software before. Mostly Firefox Addons, and the Windows program Notepad++ (an extensive text editor), but I have never translated much this perticular culture of collaborative open software.
I hope I’m doing it the right way, please e-mail me if you wish me to stop translating or if I’m doing something I’m not supposed to.
