New version of Ubuntu Tweak is coming! With a lot of bugs fixed and many new applications added.

There’s no new feature introduced, but the most big bug of Clean Config is fixed. You can really feel free to clean the old config files now.
And also with the following changes:
- Full features support for Ubuntu 9.04.
- Added more third-party sources: Gnome global menu, gwibber, Chromium brower, U
buntu Tweak testing, AWN testing, Specto.
Bugs fixed:
- Fixed #298300, cannot run 0.4.2 without compiz installed
- Fixed #331050, Error with 3rd party repositories
- Fixed #332110, it crashed before beginning
- Fixed #329310, load “Personal->Templates” error. version 0.4.5
- Fixed #330113, Wrong info about GScrot in “Applications -> Third-party sources”
- Fixed #331120, Ubuntu Tweak 0.4.5 give a error message when i go to Startup
- Fixed #332240, Improve usability in shortcut.py
- Fixed #332277, Patch for the error dialog
- Fixed #329607, A message typo
- Fixed #336516, Ubuntu Tweak failed to open the menu Personal>Scripts
- Fixed the bug which can’t clean the config files.
A lot of new Third-Party Sources have been added. Included the development Chromium Browser.
Templates is smart now. If you set the wrong path for Templates. It won’t be loaded untill you set it correctlly.
Improved the usability of Shortcuts settings. You can easy to clean a shortcut keys(Thanks Mingxi Wu).
And Vadim Peretokin, he improved the error dialog. Thank you.

Just a FYI, your server’s mime type for a .deb package is broken, and file▸open with for the .deb doesn’t work.

No, impossible to clean packages as it’s impossible to unlock this item.
“An unattented error as occured, unable to authentificate”. I’m authorized explicitly in polkit-gnome-authorization > Ubuntu-tweaks>Tweak

The thirdparty sources does STILL not work! I’m getting this message:

still can not run under my xubuntu
I have run ubuntu-tweak on Debian 5.0 lenny,But some of the features are not surported!

I cannot run it on my kubuntu 8.04 HH
Here’s a feature for 0.5 or whatever the next version is: automatically add GPG keys for sources. Like if I add a ppa from tweak I shouldn’t get a popup saying it’s not trusted.

how safe is the clean tool is it safe to remove all it finds in clean cash and others … sorry still newbie and running ubuntu 8.10
