I've been running Ubuntu Tweak on Linux Mint 7 (optimized for my Asus Eee PC 1000HD install) and Ubuntu Tweak 0.4.7.3 has been working great! The only oddity I've noticed is, when I used Ubuntu Tweak to get rid of Compiz, it didn't totally wipe all remnants from Linux Mint 7. I had to use the Synaptic Package Manager to totally rid myself of Compiz. Other than that, it's been working fine, although I haven't tested EVERY package remover. Being a minimal (Netbook) install, most of the packages were already absent.

I'm thinking about adding a feature to your utility that would automatically optimize Ubuntu/Mint for the Eee PC with a click of the button via the Configuration Manager (GConf) - call it Ubuntu Tweak EeePC or whatever. If I ever get around to doing this, I'll contact you.

Anyway, thanks for the great utility! I'll keep testing it on my Mint system(s).
