If you wish to install Fedora, you’d be better off with the latest version, the Fedora 15. Of course, there are some users who dislike the new Gnome 3 user interface, so, if you are one of them, take a look at LXDE and XFCE Fedora spins.

i installed ubuntu tweak on fedora 14 but it closes 10 seconds after it opens.
i hope you will be able o solve this problem.

This article was written when Fedora 10. Now lots of things have been changed. So I think there’s no version can run under Fedora 14.

Fedora 14? Which version of Ubuntu Tweak do you run runder Fedora 14?

hey,
tweak always crashes after about 5 seconds on fedora 14. error msg:

ubuntu-tweak.py:71: PangoWarning: pango_layout_set_width: assertion `layout != NULL’ failed
gtk.main()
ubuntu-tweak.py:71: PangoWarning: pango_layout_get_extents: assertion `layout != NULL’ failed
gtk.main()
ubuntu-tweak.py:71: PangoWarning: pango_layout_get_line_count: assertion `layout != NULL’ failed
gtk.main()
Floating point exception

while line 71 says:
gtk.main()
don’t know where’s a problem with that, as I do not understand python… any ideas?
