Maybe, SQLite is the best solution, anyhow, a simple .ini file would be good enough :)

Thank you very much for your suggestion and encourage! I'm so happy.

And you are right, this application uses gconf string.

Follow your suggesion, I've create a static page of "Suggestion", so that people can post their suggestion there.
About the external db...Em, that's a good idea. But I don't have any knowledge about the develop of database. I think I need to learn more now.

I will to see your application. It sounds very attractive...

Thank you again, Mr.Dreadsoft.

I think that ubuntu tweak could really become a killer app... BTW I wrote an application which is able to read from the ubuntu-it official forum and keep trace of the [solved] problems...

Thus, sometimes I get some Tips/Tricks/Tweaks which could be useful to extend your app... I had a glance at the source code and it seems it uses gconf strings, right ?

Here are some things you could do IMO:

- put a "static" page where people can suggest their own tweaks
- and/or put a static page where people can request tweaks
- maybe use an external db, (sqlite?) to store description/help/gconf strings, instead of hardconding them... that would ease up coding, translation and maintenance.
